On Wednesday 16th May, the Travel Foundation picked up a Silver Global Good Award in the Sustainable Supply Chains category for our Taste of Fethiye Project. The project showcases how the tourism industry can strengthen local livelihoods by connecting small farmers and wholesalers to hotels – one of the most challenging aspects of sustainable tourism for destinations.
Held in London, the ceremony was a great opportunity to learn about inspirational initiatives from the public, private and third sector who are committed to delivering positive change. We are grateful for the opportunity to give this fantastic project the recognition it deserves – our sincere thanks to all our funding, supporting and implementing partners who made it such a huge success.
