Holiday Extras give a little extra

While Holiday Extras generates significant funds to support the Travel Foundation, that’s not the only type of giving on the table.  We have recently started volunteer programme with Holiday Extras  which gives our team access to the very best of their commercial skills and know-how.  Like many charities, our training budget is limited and it can be a challenge to stay ahead of the game with digital technologies but thanks to Holiday Extras, our capacity in this area has received a massive boost.

To kick-start the programme, we invited Steven Hill, Holiday’s Extras’ Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) guru to come to our offices, evaluate our website and guide us through the complex world of Google algorithms.  The day was a steep learning curve and we are now equipped to put our learnings from a multi-million dollar industry into practice.

Having Steve for the day was also an opportunity for us all to share industry news and feel a greater connection with one of our partners. Like all the people I encounter at Holiday Extras,  I found Steve incredibly approachable, helpful, switched on and passionate about what he does – thank you Steve for coming all this way!
