Who is involved
The Travel Foundation offers a unique way forward, working in partnership with the UK government, travel industry and other relevant organisations, such as conservation and campaign groups, in order to find the best solutions for sustainable tourism.
The Travel Foundation was created through a groundbreaking initiative involving forty organisations spanning government, tour operators, industry associations, relevant charities and academia. These ‘founding’ organisations have formed an advisory body, The Travel Foundation Forum, which anyone in the industry can join, at no cost, to help influence the work and direction of The Travel Foundation; there are nearly 100 members to date.
Our Fundraisers
A number of leading travel companies are supporting the work of The Travel Foundation.
First Choice, Thomas Cook, MyTravel, Cosmos, Sunvil, lowcostgroup, Keycamp, Titan Tours, Frantic Tours, Hidden Greece and Beat the Brochure are running consumer funding schemes. When you book or return from your next holiday with these companies, you will be asked to make a small voluntary contribution to the charity.
