 An Insider Guide & a training DVD to help overseas staff make a difference in destination are now available.
You can make a huge difference to the resort you are working in - and help change the lives of local people for the better - by doing just a few simple things...
Click on the image to the right to access our Play Your Part Insider Guide which provides advice to overseas staff. By following the simple advice in this leaflet, resort staff can help customers get more out of their holiday - & importantly, make a positive difference to the lives of the people & places they visit. Helping ensure that there are special places for us all to visit - for generations to come!
The training DVD is intended to provide a broad introduction to a diverse range of issues that affect the long-term sustainability of destinations. It draws attention to some of the global concerns in which tourism plays a part & introduces a variety of methods that can be used in taking a more responsible approach to tour operating.
Whilst the film can be used on its own, tour operators will find it a useful training tool in supplementing their own training delivery to both UK & overseas resort staff. The programme has been organised into sections that allow the material to be tailored to different audiences.
