Our Work

Embedding sustainable ways of working

Check out our FREE online training courses

Our portfolio of projects all support our vision of tourism bringing greater benefits for local people and the environment.

One of the ways that we believe we can achieve this is to work with tourism decision makers to embed change within the tourism industry.

Some examples of how we embed sustainable ways of working in the tourism industry are:

  • Enhancing the quality and sustainability of products and services in destinations, creating better customer experiences that also benefit the people and environment in destinations. Our work in Mombasa is a great example of positive industry change.
  • We deliver and develop bespoke training programmes to help¬†entrepreneurs improve business skills, and to help organisations in the destination support their future development. For example, we ran a train-the-trainer project in Jamaica so that local tourism trainers could support craft entrpreneurs.
  • We also support businesses and governments to embed change into their policies, to help destinations thrive. For example, we helped the Cyprus Tourism Organisation embed minumum standards for sustainability into their hotel standards for all tourist accommodation on the island.
