As part of the 'Taste of Fethiye' project in Turkey, we've been working to raise awareness of local produce in the Fethiye region, and also the benefits that sourcing locally can bring.
A 'Taste of Fethiye' logo has been developed to help build recognition for local produce.
An English version has been developed to try and build customer awareness of local produce, and a Turkish version has been developed so that all farmers can use the logo to promote their goods to local hoteliers.
The project aims to improve the benefits farmers gain from tourism, and to encourage good farming practise.
Launched in 2010, 'Taste of Fethiye' is a five year project which sees Travel Foundation collaborate with Thomas Cook, TUI and Co-operative Travel.
