John Penrose MP, the Minister for Tourism and Heritage, addressed the audience at the Travel Foundation Annual Meeting on Tuesday 26th June.
He declared 'sustainable tourism is not only morally right, but commercially sensible', and urged those already involved to become 'champions' to help spread the word.
Referring to the newly released white paper, 'Survival of the fittest', he highlighted the business case for sustainable tourism.
