Jane Watson provides a tourism development consulting service and technical assistance for a range of public and private sector clients, such as local or national tourist offices, other ministries and government departments, aid agencies, management consultancies and travel industry. She has work experience in over 70 countries, including on donor-funded programmes, development projects, and previously in tour operator product management. Extensive fieldwork on projects in Latin America, Asia, Caribbean, Middle East and elsewhere. Tourism consulting services are offered in five broad areas: project cycle management (including project identification/design, mid-term and final evaluations, as well as project implementation/administration); planning, analysis and research for tourism development (sector and organisational reviews; stakeholder consultation/partnership development, capacity building, feasibility studies, export promotion, investment attraction); product development (pilot projects, cluster development, product analysis - national and local audits, circuit design, training needs reviews); marketing (plans, strategies, market research and analysis, market reviews); travel industry support (marketing, contracting, brochure assistance, trade fair support, event organisation, etc). Jenny Holland has been a sustainable tourism and development consultant since 1994, managing projects for the European Union in South, Eastern & Central Europe. She has also undertaken research & policy analysis in Albania & Jamaica for the World Bank and UN. More recently she has been the Cyprus STI & Travel Foundation project manager helping to build & establish a multistakeholder tourism partnership organisation committed to increasing sustainable tourism delivery in Cyprus.
