Helping to provide local products and services, rather than imports.
This ensures that your visit directly benefits local families. For example, helping farmers to supply fresh, local produce or craftspeople good quality souvenirs to resort hotels, creating new excursions that take visitors to areas that did not previously benefit from tourism and working with the industry to create better job opportunities for local people, for example in guiding or hotel management.
