The International Centre for Responsible Tourism
The International Centre for Responsible Tourism (ICRT) team is based at Leeds Metropolitan University and provides teaching, consultancy and research services across a wide range of sectors and disciplines. Team members have worked on every continent, advising clients including all of the main international donor agencies; national, regional and local governments; multi-national corporations and locally-owned businesses, NGOs and community groups. Our skills and services cover five main areas of responsible tourism: Planning; Business Support; Training and Mentoring; Marketing; Evaluation and Monitoring. The University of Gloucestershire
The University of Gloucestershire’s commitment to sustainability has led them to be acknowledged formally as a sector leader. They were ranked as No.1 in the Green People and Planet League of Universities (2008) and awarded a Green Gown for Continuous Improvement (2008). The University of Gloucestershire’s Students’ Union has been Awarded a Gold Green Impact Award (2011) by the National Union of Students. It is a really important agenda for them, particularly in terms of embedding sustainability into the curriculum, and they are constantly seeking to improve their contribution. Angela Kalisch is Senior Lecturer in Tourism Management. She is involved in consultancy, research, and knowledge transfer on Sustainable Tourism and Corporate Social Responsibility and has worked closely with the tourism industry on those issues.

The University of Wales Aberystwyth
The University of Wales Aberystwyth was founded in 1872 and was the first university institution to be established in Wales. Today, it has over 7,000 registered students, including over 1,100 postgraduates across eighteen academic departments.
