Fair Trade in Tourism South Africa (FTTSA)
FTTSA is a non-profit organisation that promotes sustainable tourism development through awareness raising, research and advocacy, capacity building and by facilitating the world’s first tourism Fair Trade certification programme. FTTSA awards the use of special label to qualifying businesses as a way of signifying their commitment to Fair Trade criteria including fair wages and working conditions, fair purchasing, fair operations, equitable distribution of benefits and respect for human rights, culture and environment.

Our Land
Our Land is a collaborative project developing responsible tourism in two National Parks and seven Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty in the South East of England: the Chilterns, Cotswolds, High Weald, Isle of Wight, Kent Downs, New Forest, North Wessex Downs, South Downs and Surrey Hills. With GBP1million funding from the Rural Development Programme for England, the nine South East Protected Landscapes have joined with online travel expert responsibletravel.com to create a commercially viable model to promote and support sustainable tourism businesses within the participating landscapes throughout the three year funding period. Our Land celebrates the diversity and distinctiveness of the landscapes. It’s overall aim is to establish a well resourced product development programme to help tourism businesses offer activities and accommodation which really celebrate these iconic landscapes.

ROSE (Rural Opportunity for Social Elevation)
ROSE (Rural Opportunity for Social Elevation) is a rural community based home stay and volunteer programme in the
small village of Kanda, India. The organisation run year-round projects for people who want to experience life in rural India and the foothills of the Himalayas. Projects involve teaching at local schools, farming and construction work. Volunteers are able to live with village families to gain first hand experience of local culture, flora and fauna. -
The CREES Foundation
