The purpose of the Foreign and Commonwealth Office is to work for the United Kingdom's interests in a safe, just and prosperous world. Sustainable development is at the heart of the UK's domestic and international policies. The FCO offers a range of consular services including travel advice to outbound British tourists. They also carry out environmental and general sustainable development work in a number of our posts. They have 90 environmental attaches in 83 countries.

Forum for the Future is recognised as the UK’s leading sustainable development charity. Its object as a charity is to promote sustainable development and to educate different groups in sustainable development, in order to accelerate the building of a sustainable way of life, taking a positive solutions-oriented approach.

The Forum works with more than 150 companies, local authorities, regional bodies and universities to build their capacity to overcome the many barriers to more sustainable practice and aims for nothing less than transformation-irreversible change. Working through partnerships with UK companies and travel industries they provide advice on sustainable development and CSR.

Frantic Tours was established over 20 years ago to provide a focus to like minded travellers. All their clients are provided with guidelines on the impact of tourism on local communities, both good and bad, and they have developed local relationships with suppliers.

Friendship Travel Ltd  Friendship Travel offers fun and enjoyable singles holidays for people aged between 30 – 70 years old. We offer a wide range of destinations in the UK, Europe, Caribbean and Asia where our dedicated hosts look after the needs of the clients. Holidays are friendly and unstructured where every day finishes with dinner for a group of like-minded people. We have encouraged hotels to operate responsible tourism initiatives in the past and now we look forward to formalising these through support and direction from the Travel Foundation.
