For 25 years Explore has been pioneering small group travel and expeditions to the world's most amazing places. Key to the experience is the aim to scratch below the surface to see not only the main sights but to gain a real insight into the places visited. At Explore they strive to ensure that people who work for them are treated fairly and paid a fair wage, to foster positive relations with local communities and be an economic benefit to them, and to minimise their impact on the environment. These principles are as relevant at home as on tour. At their office their in house Responsible Tourism Forum looks at ways they can reduce their environmental impact and be a proactive member of their own community so they can be confident that they practice what they preach, here as well as overseas.
