Bath Spa University Collegeis one of the first major ‘teaching-led’ universities. It offers pre-degree study, undergraduate degrees and postgraduate degrees in a wide range of programmes. The University is linked with over 50 institutions in Europe, Asia and the USA and Africa. It incorporates the teaching of sustainable tourism through its taught courses: BSc (Hons) Tourism Management, Foundation Degree (FdSc) Tourism Management and Diploma of Higher Education (Tourism Management). Staff also provide consultancy and support to businesses and encourage students to participate in industry-education projects.

British Airways is the UK's largest international scheduled airline and is committed to being a good neighbour, concerned for the community and environment. Since 1992 BA has run the Tourism for Tomorrow Awards, a programme which recognises and rewards tourism businesses in the UK and abroad which have host community and environment high on their priority list. The awards create role models which encourage sustainable tourism best practice and raise awareness in the industry.
British Expertise, formerly BCCB, is an independent not for profit organisation, founded in 1966. Their objective is to help member companies develop their business abroad. Although British Expertise maintains very close relations with a range of Government Departments, funding relies entirely on member company subscriptions and fee-based services.
